Meet Honey

Looking for a ready-made pet?  Honey is your answer!  She's a petite mini dachshund with a big dachshund personality.  She loves belly rubs and sitting beside you in the chair.  Honey is housebroken and will let you know when she has to go out and bark to come back in.  She's always ready to go outside to play and will need a secure fence for boundaries.  She takes a little bit to warm up, but once she does, she's your best friend.  In typical dachshund fashion, she is a barker!  She is kennel trained and sleeps in the kennel at night.  Mention a treat and she'll jump right in! Honey came to us from Mississippi along with her brother after they were abandoned at a shelter.  Honey is approximately 6 years old.  Get your app in quick, she will be very popular!

Honey is a small (8 pound) long haired cream dachshund.  She came in from Mississippi where she and a sibling had been left at a shelter.  She is housebroken.  She loves being outside, a fenced yard is a must.  She does very well in the kennel at night and during the day while her foster Mom is at work.  She is a happy little dog and loves to snooze in the chair beside you.  She is a bit wary around strangers, but will warmup quickly.  She is a perfect ready made lap dog and would be a great addition to a family with older children or a single person. Honey will REQUIRE a resident dog to help her transition into her new family. While she has grown up with her brother Graham, they are not bonded and can be adopted separately.

Suggested adoption donation for Honey is a minimum of $400 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note: invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.
