Meet Ruza

Ruza is a spirited, feisty, energetic smooth red dachshund puppy, born May 13, 2018.  She has a "wobble walk" that she was born with. As Ruza has grown, it has improved a bit. Her bones and joints are developing as expected for a puppy her age, but she will always have a wobble to her walk.

Nothing slows down Ruza down one bit. She's an energetic little puppy. She chases her foster siblings, pestering them to play. Although she loves most any toy, balls and empty toilet paper rolls are her favorite. Ruza enjoys being outside – attacking leaves, chewing on sticks, tracking bunnies and simply running around. She will need a securely fenced yard for her safety.

Ruza has been working on crate training and potty training, but as with any puppy, it's a work in progress.  She gets along well with other dogs, loves humans and attention. Don’t let that fool you, she is also a very independent, strong willed puppy. She definitely makes her own decisions. (A puppy training class would benefit Ruza.)

Ruza is a sweet, adorable little pup, but make no mistake, she has tons of puppy of energy and a mind of her own, so you better be able to keep up with this sassy little cutie!

Suggested adoption donation for Ruza is a minimum of $400 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to other geographical areas as long as we can find a local volunteer to perform the courtesy home visit, and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note: invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.
