Winston is a 7-month-old neutered male Westie who is ready to start a brand-new chapter in his life. He came from a commercial breeder, but don’t let that fool you—this sweet boy is quickly discovering just how wonderful life can be. With a heart full of love and a playful spirit, Winston is learning all about the joys of toys, treats, and cuddle time.

Personality:

Winston is an easy-going, happy-go-lucky guy who adores playing and getting attention. He’s especially fond of zoomies in the yard—he’s got a burst of energy that will have you smiling every time you see him run! When he’s done burning off steam, Winston loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch for some quality cuddle time. His love for toys is growing every day, and he’s learning how to carry them around proudly like a little treasure.

Training and Potty Training:

As Winston came from a commercial breeding facility, he’s still getting the hang of things like potty training and walking on a leash. But don’t worry—he’s a quick learner and is trying his best! He’ll need a patient and understanding family who can help him continue his journey of discovering new things and feeling confident in his new home.

Health:

Winston is up-to-date on all his vaccines and is on heartworm prevention. He’s a healthy, happy pup ready to take on the world!

Compatibility:

Winston gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be an excellent companion for a household with other pets. He’s friendly, social, and loves making new friends. Whether he’s playing in the yard or lounging at home, he’s happy to have company!

My adoption donation is a minimum of $700. Funds go towards the high cost of care for our foster dogs.

Wag N' Train Terrier Rescue adopts nationally (the contiguous 48 states) if we can locate a volunteer willing to assist with a home visit. Approved adopters need to be prepared to travel to the Omaha area, we do not ship our foster dogs and we do not arrange transports.

Unless otherwise indicated, our foster dogs require a securely fenced yard. Invisible/underground fencing does not classify as "secure."

Our volunteers process applications that meet the MINIMUM criteria for a specific foster dog. If you do not meet the baseline requirements, we encourage you to continue to monitor our Facebook page and website for a foster dog who is a great fit for your lifestyle!
