Meet Legend: A Sweet Boy Discovering the World One Day at a Time
***Legend is absolutely in love with life outside of a breeder pen and is making up for lost time with joy, curiosity, and love.***
Legend spent the first 8 months of his life in a breeder pen, so he is now experiencing the world for the very first time. Everything is new to him, and even with so much to learn, he is embracing life with a loving heart and a wonderful sense of fun.
Legend loves being petted and enjoys attention from the people he trusts. When he first arrived, he would not even touch a treat, but now he is absolutely crazy about them. He also loves toys and does a great job entertaining himself, which is such a joy to watch as he learns how fun life can be.
What Makes Legend Special: Legend is a loving, happy boy who is clearly thrilled to be outside of the life he used to know. He is playful, affectionate, and discovering new pleasures every day. Whether he is enjoying toys, soaking up petting, or getting excited for treats, Legend is showing just how much heart he has.
What Legend Needs: Legend is nervous around new people, not because he is unkind, but because he simply does not yet know what to do. He needs a patient adopter who understands that he missed out on early life experiences and is still catching up. Legend also needs continued work on potty training and is just starting to learn how to walk on a leash.
The Right Home for Legend: • Patient adopter willing to help him learn about the world • Calm, encouraging home environment • Commitment to potty training and leash training • Gentle handling and positive reinforcement • Understanding that he may be nervous with new people at first • Someone who will enjoy helping him catch up on all the things he has missed
Legend has so much to learn, but he is loving and having fun every minute. He is a very special boy who is ready for a forever home that will guide him, encourage him, and celebrate every little milestone along the way.
