Elizabeth is a 4-month-old purebred Dachshund with a beautiful black and tan coat and an adorable puppy personality. She is currently about 6 pounds and still growing into the confident little companion she is meant to be.

Elizabeth is playful, goofy, athletic, food-motivated, and full of curiosity. She loves to be part of the action and has the kind of puppy energy that makes every day fun. She is also a snuggly little girl who enjoys affection and closeness once playtime winds down.

What Makes Elizabeth Special:
Elizabeth is an outgoing and happy puppy with a bright personality. She loves treats, enjoys play, and is eager to experience the world around her. Her food motivation will be a wonderful tool for training, bonding, and helping her learn good manners as she grows.

Elizabeth is still a puppy, so she will need continued work on housetraining, leash skills, socialization, and basic puppy manners. She is at a wonderful age to learn, but she will need a family committed to structure, routine, patience, and positive reinforcement.

Wag N’ Train Terrier Rescue adopts nationally (contiguous 48 states) if a local volunteer performs a home visit. Approved adopters must travel to Omaha to pick up their dog — no transport services.

Invisible/underground fencing does not qualify as secure.

We only process applications that meet baseline criteria for each foster dog, as listed in the Additional Details.
